Hey Guys, new s2k owner here in Leesburg VA. Trying to figure out which, if any, Bluetooth headset works best with the s2k. I see some say "Windproof" but can't believe that would be true with the top down on the highway. Anyone have personal experience with this subject?

Jawbone Icon is probably your best best.

 

I got the Jawbone Prime and it works like a charm!!! Even with loud exhuast drone inside of car!

 

okay sounds good. I will get the jawbone prime, I'll check out best buy.

 

You may also want to consider a blue tooth head unit. I can make top down calls with my Pioneer BT610 unless I'm on the interstate at 65+mph

 

I figured that a headset may work better than an actual bluetooth unit especially with the top down?

 

I have Sony bluetooth head unit on S2000 and the voice quality sucks!!! but bluetooth stereo rocks!!! I wouuld rather use bluetooth head set instead of using bluetooth head unit!

Also Pioneer AVIC-N4 and N5 have great bluetooth voice quality!!! I got this on my DD Spec V.

 

Plantronics also has a lot of good reviews for quality/windproof

 

The pioneers (and some sonys) have a directional mic that can be mounted anywhere in the car. I've heard not so good things about the sonys with the headunit mounted mic. That may make the difference. The voice quality isn't crystal clear top up or down, but the people on the other end can understand me.
