Latest updates

The hard ware has been installed succesfully

The bad news, the harness that came with kit is completely different, it has 3 points while my factory ecu has four points, the forth is related to the VSA and DBW stupid innovations

Now I have two options:
1. Find a harness such as "boomslang fabrication" that should be plug n' play and that's it ....

2. Modify the factory ecu wiring to work with the e-manage harness "this is the non - preferred solution" .....

Yousef S2K .... do you still know who make these harnesses I remeber we were discussing this issue before
Nice, btw i was reading today about the Greddy EMU and the boomslang harness has to be modified..

Both are reliable and suitble for daily drive conditions (if kept using stock boost)

Vortech :
with stock boost @ 6 psi can give you extra 100 whp
requires management system to run safe "K-pro is the most suitable system"
cost apx KD 1,500 for the kit + KD 700 for the Kpro
voreck has more room for power increase up to 390 whp with changing the H.Gasget and bost increase to 14

Greddy :
kit with stock boost @ 7 psi can give 70-80 whp
come complete with the e-manage and costs KD 1,100
greddy has limited room for power increase up to 310 whp with boost incease to 10 psi

Updates

I e-mailed boomslang pictures of the factory ecu, they sell a complete harness just plug n' play for USD 230

now will drive the car from bader's carage to park it, untill the harness is delivered to KWT

Have to wait for aprx 15 - 17 days to tune the car in the dyno ......

Oh did you over-rev by down-shifting? Or just missed an up-shift??

You mean I need the K pro for upgrading the system right?
I think the vortec system comes with a

Yes vortech comes with a black box "pre-tuned", Awadi used it for one year and went to GulfRun3 last year with it

K-pro is tunable, gives you x-tra whp, more conservative and highly recommended, and can not do any modifications on the future without it

215whp NA with Intake/Header/Exhaust/testpipe

304 whp without HONDATA

320whp with HONDATA

but the main advantage of the k-pro was midrange punch and smoother and linear power curve. also adjusted vtec point to 4250rpm

as for the conservativness, i changed the stock fuel injectors with bigger ones to reduce the lean ratio and make it a little rich to be in the safeside.
