Hey y'all, I'm from Dallas and considering moving up to Kansas City for a girl...but in order to do so, I'll need to find work. I've got a management degree and work in accounting at the top Cadillac/Saab dealership in the nation. I'm open to anything though that would pay the bills. Do any of y'all know of anywhere that is hiring for anything in accounting or vehicle service related? Thanks for the help!

Well Im in the US Army and we are always hiring!!!! On the serious side though your best bet is to look up some dealerships and start calling. I also thought GM was pretty good with the whole relocating thing. I wish you the best of luck man and hope everything works out for the best.

I appreciate that...as former USMC, I appreciate the offer...but thanks, but no thanks . Yeah, I'm not hell bent on another GM dealership, but I'm open minded to work options. I appreciate the help and I hope to see y'all up there sometime soon. I should be up for the 4th of July so if y'all do something, let me know.

I have lived here my entire life. While the economy may be in a bit of hurt more so than others, we have not been terribly affected by it here. This is actually one of the few places still hiring people. You may want to Google the following if you are looking for work at dealerships:

Superior Lexus Kansas City, Superior Cadillac Kansas City, Superior Buick Kansas City, Sunflower Dodge, Jay Wolfe Honda/Acura, Morse Chevrolet Kansas City

Start from there and if those are not hiring, I am sure they can tell you who is.

I would suggest with that management degree looking into Walgreens, but the last I checked we were overstaffed for management in the district. Let me make a call.

sweet, I appreciate you making the call. I was looking at Superior Infiniti and Lexus...do those dealerships have good reps? I'm not opposed to much.

The whole Superior block of dealerships have a pretty damn good rep here. I know of a family friend that owned a 93 Supra and had it serviced every 2500 at the Superior Lexus. They always performed top notch service.

If you are not familiar with that area too much, Google that area and do the Sat view. That whole block of dealerships are all Superior.
