I'm not surprised that men who have held their power by railing against the US would not want a reasonable US leader who will undercut their credibility with the Iranian people.

 

I am one that believe no matter how many problems one has you never let your enemies see them . I think is his talks he sounded like he has to explain himself instead of just telling them what he plans to do . They like strong leaders that " I will "not "I think we can" or "we would like to " ... bringing up his heritage is like me telling someone that thinks I an racist I am not because I have black friends ...

I say enemies , because till they have a understanding and come to terms they are not on Team USA .. We cant just leave and say sorry , I don't believe they are a let bygones be bygones type of government .

Just my thoughts... Cuba and Russia are trying to collaborate there efforts today but unwilling to talk about military affiliation ? Just things that make you think ..

There is and will be a definite Change in the world . Good or Bad something will change . Al I know is I don't think you will see the world join hands in our life time

 

It's pessimistic of me to have this mindset, but I don't actually think humanity will ever join hands. At least not until there's a massive extinction event that threatens the existence of humanity in the matter of a few years. And even then, only after humanity is reduced to much lower than the nearly 7 billion people we have now.

I just don't think it's human nature to get along. Every day in every US state, and in every country in the world, you have people of similar backgrounds who turn to violence or stealing from one another for little to no reason. I think it's uncivilized, but instinctive, to fight and resort to violence. Then consider people of different backgrounds, or groups of people with more complex decisions to make and consensuses to reach. Without one big imminent massive threat to all of us, I don't see people getting along.

Basically, as long as there are people, I think there will always be bad things like thefts, murders, rapes, etc. even before you consider national, cultural, racial, or religious differences as an excuse.

Without reading a quarter way down the page I can see that Frank is plainly out of touch with reality.

The Russians are ramping their war machine back up. I would not want to be caught with our pants down later on.

I am not againts the spending they have planned. But it doesn't belong in the "stimulus" bill.

Bush had a stimulus package and gave me $1800 cash. that's stimulus. He never called it the "stimulus" war to sell it to us like the 'crats are doing.
