Nothing to do with Obama, but the liberal Republic of Massachusetts just raised our sales tax to 6.25% and instituted an additional 6.25% sales tax on booze. Booze is already taxed federally and byt he state when the store buys it which they build into the price. Now we get taxed twice. Where's the money going? They say all of it will go to treatment programs. Nice! So I am responsible with my booze and now I have to pay for the dick heads who can't say when. What a f'd up place we live in.

So I hear you're moving to CT. My cousin is a SGT in Clinton PD. I'll put in a good word for you. Nice coastal town and they have Chargers.

Feds will pay for TV change to digital

So now the Fed is going to pay to install the digital converter boxes? I guess it is true, the lazier you are, the more government will help you.
Un flippin beleivable, they were flat broke a few weeks ago and stopped issuing the $40 vouchers and now they miraculously have enough $ to hire people to go install them!!!!!

Hmmm hey Steve wanna start a short term converter box installation company, Ill bet we can make an easy 250k in about 2 weeks Hell, all we need is a pen to fudge the forms to get the work, a pair of pliers to tighten the cables down and some ear cotton to block out all the noise we hear from the people were going to install them for. Im sure they will be chewing everyone out whining about almost not being able to watch tv. O the horrors

Oh and than we get to pay the the earnings back at tax time cause were gonna be over the threshold for the AMT.

3.3million households. I'm guessing $100 per household to install the boxes ('course, it's gotta be union labor, $25 per hour, and at least 2 union members per household (1 to work, 1 to watch), and 2 guaranteed hours of paid work.).

Thats $330,000,000.00.

$330,000,000.00 for frickin' TV.

The FED can't put money into the economy without taking it out of the economy in the first place.
