If I remember correctly the Mugen header suffered from the same problems when it first came out. A friend of ours traded his Mugen header for a Toda header and hasnt had a problem yet.


Not to sound like an a@@ , but was wondering what makes the Comptech header so special. I just dont see very many people running this header.

On the mugen you cant go wrong but also consider the Amuse header cause they have similar designs.


Just keep in mind most people are running these on the 2.0. I havent seen anything posted up with a modified 2.2.

A couple for the Comptech is that its Stainless and 50-state carb legal.

I'm a fan of 4-1 headers, even on this car, so that narrows down the choices somewhat to Comptech and Spoon. If you're looking for a midrange bump, then Mugen would be a good choice. Stainless and made in the US is a plus.
