The sales guy called me on my way home from work tonight and told me that the parts, service, and sales managers were all going to have a meeting tomorrow to assess blame and then determine how they'll make it right with me.

I know a really great body man up here and think that I'll ask for it to just be repaired so I can keep the original serial numbered body part.

Stuff like this happens because they give the salesmen power screw drivers to attatch the plates. Most of them have no idea of how to use them properly and go full speed all the way on the drill setting instead of using the variable clutch setting for screws as they should. Comes down to being lazy and not caring enough.

Levi,

I'll run it once in a while, but I enter a lot of car shows in NH and I take the plate off for show and shines. So...having those gouges just won't cut it.

Are you getting the clear bra once you get it resolved? Or I guess worse case scenario would be to keep the plate on full time even at the shows.

I understand, hopefully a good shop will having it looking like the rest of the car.
