I'm stuck with a probelm and I have no idea what to do. I have no one to turn to and the stress and pain of this decision is keeping me up at night. Please help me for I'm afraid you are my last hope.
Recently I have undertaken a new woodworking project on my house, all part of the upgrading that I'm doing as planned. As my income is stuck well below the 6-digit category and I'm addicted to track events that consume large quantities of money I have limited resources for other expenditures.
I want to buy a new table saw, should I?
I could say I need a new table say as the one I have is not real good and is causing me to go slower than I would like, and that is partially true, however not one hundred percent true. The table saw I have now is okay, it is getting me buy and I'm learning more all the time on how to deal with its inacuracies, but still, I want a new table saw, and I'm not willing to giveup a set of track tires to get it.
Oh Lainey, help me for I know not what to do...
See, I really neeeeeed a new saw.
The brackets
The usage of said brackets
This window sill is only the start, I have all the rest of the casing to do, all new baseboards, all new crown moldings, in addition to 2 colums that will be part of the room transition.

I'm your last hope? You've got BIG problems, then.
Your table saw works, right? It's just taking you longer? You don't want to give up a track day to buy a new saw?
OK, it's winter, you have NOTHING to do with/on your cars. It's OK if your project takes longer, you have nothing else to do besides shovel snow. Use the old saw and "make do" as the old swamp Yankees would say.
You could give up some time at the track if you really, really wanted a new saw, but we ALL know that won't happen anytime soon, unless you join Track Addicts Anonymous. I heard Ellen is about to start a chapter, if you are interested.

3- Nice project, by the way.
1- was the sarcasm not thick enough?
2- I know, I know, you are right...
3- Thanks, after I get past this weekend's Upstate event I can get back to work, and then progress will really pick up. That silly windowsill has taken me weeks because I had to make several templates so the cutting was done once on the good wood, and perfectly, and those silly brackets took forever.
