But I know for a fact that a bone stock 01 S2k puts down a bit less power than the newer ones (around 188-195) VS 195-202
You missed my point. My s2k with CAI only dynod at 204. There is no way my car got 9-16 (based on your numbers) hp from the aem cai. TRUST ME. Especially since when you a dyno a car with cai the ram air affects are negated by the open engine and no inflow of air. So my point is that you cant make that generalization that a bone stock 01 will dyno around 188-195 and 02s will dyno 195-202 without comparing 01s-02+s at the same time with the same dyno and a sample size of more than 1% which if 5000 01s were made than 50 01s vs. 50 02+s (anything less would have a high rate of potential inaccuracy).

Yeah, not all dynos are the same, and there's no point of comparing dynos from other cars. There's too much to take into account. Dynos are just so you can see what gains you're getting with the mods you keep adding.
But like I said the newer S2k's most of the time put down better numbers (3-4hp more, big deal, but it's a fact)
I'm not just talking out of my @ss. I post on honda-tech and I've seen lots and lots of S2k dynos.
Post a thread on performance and ask if it's true. Most likley they'll tell you it is and it's due to the ECU.
When I dyno my car, stock RSX-s's were putting down 170,172,175whp on the same dyno, same time(5-10minutes apart). Yet I've seen other stock RSX-s dyno plots for 155-169whp.
One thing to keep in mind too. Not all cars come from factory putting down the same whp. Some have 5-10 more whp.
For sure if your car was made on a friday it will have less hp then the ones made on a monday LOL
Just my .2
