Maybe that's what Steve was referring to?

We either go for a walk on a route around our house or sometimes we go for a drive in the S to get to our walking destination , in bad weather, we have a treadmill.

A high percentage of home exercise equipment just ends up being a place to hang your clothing, but we DO use the treadmill, Rick more so than I.

I'm not interested in going to a gym. I used to attend an aerobic dance class which I really enjoyed, and I did that for years. Then they cut the number of classes and the time scheduled changed. Once I no longer went there immediately after work, it was not the same. Once I'm home, I want to stay home.

I have the equipment here ( home gym, hip sled, Bike treadmill, ski machine) which means i really have no excuse not to use it other than laziness.
i'm not sure deserve Lainey's praise.
I'm aware of my health and fitness.
Sort of like being aware your house is on fire but waiting until a wall has fallen down and the roof caved to call the fire dept.

I used to go to the gym when it was on my way home from work. Now I tend to work more hours and its just tough to make it. I go to my parents house (5 minute drive) a town away and use my dad's equipment which is basic, but good enough for me and better than nothing. I like the gym because of the nicer equipment, but I tend to waste more time there than at home with fewer distractions and easier parking.

Home gym for me, things that are not really enjoyable like working out has to be made as easy as possible, hence, the twice a week schedule and a home gym for me. For a lot of exercises, all you really need is a good bench and some free weights, so it doesn't take up a lot of room.
