I am down to, exercise unless it hurts. Well unfortunately, it always hurts to walk or even work on a bike.
My recumbent bike is ok, but with the condition of my iliac, I cannot maintain much.
So I curl the arms with weights (not beers, boo hoo) to get a little cardio each day.
It sucks to be me.

Bob you're excused for a while. I hope you are feeling better.
Thanks Lainey, I have actually stung two good days in a row. That is a current record. I think Connie is suffering from cabin fever as we are not going out at all. Except for some work. I will get better, I just know it.

I try to maintain a regimen of 3-4 times a week on my bowflex at home and ride every good weather day in the warm months on my road bike- Oh how I yearn for the warm months! Came home Wednesday to find my S up on her rear tires scratching at the garage door wanting to go out ! She does'nt understand about salt on the roads.
lets see I have 2 eliptical machines, a bike, a treadmill, a full do everything home gym, 2 jumpropes and free weights and a big old tv hooked up to direct tv and boombox right with them in their own room down in the basement problem is I like most americans dont use them enough
they get used but not enough. how does everyone get the mojo to do it for any length of time?

Oh Jerry, not that bad
Not even close! That was how I felt seeing Fall Colors pics
On the other hand, I am extremely happy seeing Lainey's picture of me and Granny
It makes 3 months of healthy food and exercise totally worth it.

I do 40 minutes at the most, a little better than two miles, or one CD on the small CD player I use with headphones. Watching TV in front of a treadmill does NOT do it for me. Music helps me zone out. I also use little girlie weights to work my arms a bit, which helps pass the time. I don't even try to exercise every day. It's not going to happen. At times life gets in the way, and other times, I just can't talk myself into it. Tomorrow is always another day. You just can't wait for too many tomorrows to get moving.
The older you get, the easier and quicker the pounds seem to pile on, and they are more difficult to lose. It's a never ending battle.

I'm at about day 11 of a streak of feeling almost back to normal. I can't believe how much illness/surgery can take out of someone.
