Yup, and look at the bright side, along with the tranny you will get another set of spare parts but for your S. You see our rear wheel bearings are actually from a '98 and up Accord front end...

Cost me (well actually the extended warranty) $850 to learn that bit if trivia.

Civic5133 is the name selling the tranny. Its in Tampa, and I just happen to be flying there tommorow, im going to the Bucs/Seahawks sunday night football game. Well he said he would meet me at the salvage yard and show me. Well what should I look for when im looking at the tranny? Also he said he has 3 of them so if anything was wrong with the one i get he would help me out. Also I have an 00 s2k with the 2.2 motor. Which tranny best suits my car?

 

ask him to give you the vin number ahead of time.
