I've been traveling a lot lately.

Air travel has gotten ridiculous. I think about 40% of all of my flights are late.

of course i'm typing this while sitting at gate A11 at BWI. my flight was scheduled for departure at 6:35, currently scheduled for 7:35 adn we don;t have a plane at the gate.

the air traffic control system is a very complex system.
a funny thing about complex systems. the don't slow down gracefully.
quite often they go from working to not working with very little change in load.

we need somebody in the FAA to take the reins and fix the damn system but instead we've been pissing away a fortune on security to make everybody feel very afraid.

We don't do much air travel, and from what we hear, we're not missing anything.

my tookus is dragging. a very long week
