Don't you have a scanner? You'd be surprised how easy it is to maintain ~100mph with the right "tools"

If there comes a time I can not afford at least 89 with an occasionally tank of 93 for the S I will park it for awhile. My Civic runs on 87 and is quite happy with it I pretty much always do what Honda tells me
The way gas is rising that might just be next week, looks like $4.50 a gallon come july

It would be one of many tools. Certainly not the only one.

Radar/laser detectors, crap shoot. Again, you are hoping that the cop uses it while you are in range. then there is clocking that you won;t even realize until he is behind you with his lights on. Don;t forget VA uses airborne VASCAR extensively and any speed over 80mp is arrestable, which is BS. And, VA troopers also have Specters which can detect radar detectors and pinpoint exactly which car it is in.

Laser jammers, another crap shoot. that doesn't work if the offeicer knows he has been jammed and just writes "estimated" on the ticket. Then you have the choice to pay it or make another 10hr ride to appeal it.

Taking your chances with at wicked high speeds for a long time is not worth the hour or two on the road you may save.

Making good time doing about 10-15 over the limit holds a decent risk to benefit ration IMO.

There is only one radar detector I know of that cannot be detected. I forget the name of it right now.
