Gas saving tips?
In "the old days" of owning a radar detector, 10+ years ago, if you approached another car that also had a detector you would often get a false signal.
When mine goes off I hit the brakes, as long as I get a signal I keep it at a reasonable speed. When I have no more beeps I speed up if appropriate.
I think having arrows would be nice but that was not imperative to me when I purchased, especially with the type of driving I do most of the time around here. I like the fact I can upgrade the programming on mine w/o buying a new unit. I have not actually tried that yet though

the V1 can be upgraded just the same. I have sent units in before and gotten them back in 3 days round trip. I sent a unit in once that I purchased used off of craigslist and asked for a tune up and upgrade. They did it for free and shipped it back next day air for free as well. I had never even purchased a thing from them before that. I was sold on thier customer service from that point on and will never buy another detector unless they change something drastically.

That would be cool, but I wonder if the detectors would effect each other begatively. I have seen that happen before.

Have you owned a V1 to know if it falses or just reading too many internet forums?
I had mine programmed to my liking and I rarely got a false.

I do agree that they need to update the looks or something to keep people interested since most people buy for bling as much as capability. But, I think that goes against what they try to do for some reason.

I bought a sports car, I'm planning to continue feeding it the proper fuel so I can get all the hp I can out of the little sucker.
For me, I save gas by parking the Titan and driving the CRX-Si whenever I can.
And I'm really, really close to buying a newer motorcycle as soon as I make the last Titan payment.

That I just don't understand. I have a hammer, it does a specific job... I don't care what it looks like. Same with a radar detector...?

would you be so kind as to check your gender for me?
that statement made way to much sense.
