Default Hard Top...

Just want to get your opinion.
Is it worth to spend the money on hard top?...I don't really know anybody who has one and from my research the pricing on those varies. Is it really worth the extra money????

I didn't find mine to be worth it - could have been the install but mine always seemed to creak

no regrets about selling it

I ordered mine when I bought the car, no regrets. The top fits great and I love the second look it gives the car. Mine is on from Oct to May, though I don't drive too much from Dec to March. A few times each summer I will put it on just for a change of pace. With a helping hand the top can be put on/taken off in less than 30 seconds. The biggest problem is where you store it when it is not on the car.

When you say "is it worth it", well, i think it all depends on how you plan on using the car. If you plan to use the car throughout the fall and winter, as in your only car, then yes it very well may be worth it. It is expensive, (2500-3000 i think, but not sure) but at least it comes painted.
IF you are like me, and only drive the car in the warmer weather, then i dont think its worth it at all. My top will never, and has never been exposed to any snow on it and i wont even take the car out on these salty messy roads so with the $3000 or so, i took that and bought some 18"wheels

Is it worth it?

Well do you track your car? Many Road courses will require the hardtop or a roll bar for you to enjoy their track days.

So for me....I need one. Still have to find one. I don't even care what color it is..

I don't have a hardtop so cannot comment on it's worth.

I can say this much, though. The soft top is pretty amazing. After driving my S thru three NE winters there were no signs of any wear or fading. I NEVER applied any protective coating to the top and the car was always parked outside in the open at work and home - sometimes under a couple feet of snow.
