Default head restspeakers

To those who have upgraded their radios: Were you able to find after market speakers for the headrests?
If so, where, and would you mind letting me know the approximate cost?

We don't want to do a major upgrade to the stereo system, but think we'd like the headrest speakers, and Honda's are rather pricey.

Thanks!

s-pods are one way to go Lainey..

Scott & Glenn just finshed my system today and it's crazy loud. net net spods are $240 & then a decent set of componats can cost anywhere between $150 and $300

other than that there are Lucid rear speakers that go right behind the seats and they are about $200 - had these before the spods and they were a big improvement to the stock stereo - but again if s-pods are in your budget - they are the way to go

Thats a nifty set up. I chose to replace the stock speakers with separates which are Infinity Kappas in the doors using the stock headunit and a Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp in the trunk. By the way, is that the infamous V1 mounted back there??? I never leave home without mine and it just saved my yesterday AM taking the S for an oil change at the dealer. If I didn't have mine, it would have been a very costly oil change. It is hard wired and windshield mounted low to the dash, but not touching it.

Thanks!

Those s-pods look really neat. The project will be put on the "to do" list for the "S".

Hi.
Buy The POLK MOMO MM6 16.75" Speakers,
Possibly two sets,Put one set in your door and take one and put it in your roll bar hole and you will see how they fit there like they were designed to go there.Screw the top two screws on the roll bar and leave the two screw holes for later,
Take a day to make two MDF back panels for the roll bar fix them with silicone to make them vacuum sealed and put two screws thought the MDF to the Speaker Screw holes and fix them,Put black leather on the back panels for decoration or black cloth and admire the beauty of the MM6 speaker and its Carbon fiber cap and the yellow MOMO sign. You can use the grill if you want for the speakers.
The MDF makes a Bass reflex system speaker of a kind.
So you save your self money you buy the most beautiful speakers in the world and among the best performing out there and you dont use small ones like the 5.25".
You go FULL BORE. 16.75".
No Compromise,just like our car.
I Cant post pics but I can send you some when I make them tomorrow.
Maybe you can post them.
Hope I helped.
Stefce,.

Forgot.
With this kind of Speakers an amp is obligatory.
MM6 are 150w rms and 250w Peak,
