Hey Scott
My son want to put his Pioneer head unit into his 2005 Civic Si. The dash is slightly curved around the factory head unit, which has a curved face plate. Does anyone make a face plate to fit this car that will work with aftermarket radios?
Thanks.
Thanks.
1. Remove trim around shift lever in console.
2. Remove two screws at the front of the opening holding the trim around
the cup holder.
3. Remove the cup holder trim, and unplug the lighter socket.
(Held in with clips, take care not to damage it when snapping it out.)
4. Remove the two cluster bracket screws under the radio.
5. Remove the cluster with the upper vents, radio and heater controls.
(Held in with clips, take care not to damage it when snapping it out.)
6. Unplug everything going to the cluster.
7. Remove three screws holding fan and temperature control module.
8. Remove four screws holding radio.
Thank you Wiki

its actually really easier than it sounds, i was able to swap out headunits in 10 min when i had my ephatch.
just as twiztid said, except the whole cup holder trim since there is no cup holder where the shifter is.
just unscrew the shiftknob and gently pull out the center console and rest should be easy to figure out.
