Default iPhone/iPod Touch cover flow

Ok, iPhone gurus... I've loaded 3 "Greatest hits" albums on the +1's iPhone... and while they're all properly labeled with Artist, Album Artist and Album name, the CoverFlow feature on the iPhone player causes all songs to group together. For example, Aerosmith's Greatest Hits and Queen's Greatest Hits and Motley Crue's Greatest Hits all appear in eachother's album, even though they have their own picture and everything.

I've searched Google, but thee is apparently no real solution, only to rename each album something unique, which just seems stupid to me. I don't like hacky work-arounds for something that's "Just supposed to work."

Any ideas?

In itunes, check the individual songs you are speaking of to make sure they don't all have the same info somehow. I am willing to be that they are labled under the same artist or album in some way shape or form. If you aren't too familiar with using itunes, right click the song you want to check and select "show track info" or something like that. It should bring up a whole box of stuff.

If something is F'd up, use CRTL-click to select a whole individual album and then make the necessary changes to those highlighted songs. Using the CTRL click method allows you to do it all at once. You can even change the cover art in this manner by downloading the art you want and putting it in manually.

Let me know if this helps or if you need some more help.
