Hi Jim. the fact that the new Macbook just came out yesterday made the decision easy. The new Macbook is in some ways more machine than the Macbook Pro base model. Chris gets a small student discount too. All in all a good deal. We signed up for the one on one training. i sure hope he uses it.

 

Way cool! Glad you timed that right and didn't buy a day or two before they rolled out new product. That is one thing I don't like about Apple. About my only gripe really.

 

I only buy mac's, Pc are cheap waste of money and dont last. Ive own a macbook pro , mini , g5 tower 8 core and a powerbook thats been to war, dropper, blown up, and it still works like the day I pulled it out of the box.
