Thumbs down Might be getting a new car...

Don't worry, it's still an S2000!

I have the opportunity of moving into a 2005 Silverstone/Black w/ 8,800 mi. Car is in pristine condition in NJ.

I'm aware of all the big (and little) differences between the AP1 and AP2. However, I've never driven, or ridden in, an AP2. My S is my daily driver, and I had a pleasant winter with it last season (I have a spare set of OEM rims and snows).

My current S is an early '00 with ~25k mi., very lightly modded (I could put her to stock in a few hours). All of the financial numbers work really well for me, so what I'm after is any experiences local people have had going from an AP1 to an AP2 in a daily driver situation. I know Steve went through this... opinions are welcome as well!

Thanks!

-Kris

Thanks, Steve. I'm leaning towards it with the warranty and a few other reasons.

Well, I purchased MY 03' as a left over and could have gotten an 04' I drove them both and liked the feel of the 03' better. I couldn't tell/ feel any difference in one being faster than the other, but I did feel the difference in suspension. I liked how the 03' felt stiffer over bumps = my interpretaion of feeling closer to the ground, feel of the car etc.
