You definitely want to practice up for spring fling since resident VSA Jerry East will be on hand He's the king but the rest of us try 
I think the car is special first just because it's an S and they are all awesome
And even though they gutted this one I can understand for the track.
I've ridden in S with harness and of course w/o and sliding around a turn at 75 I can tell you, I would LOVE to have the harnesses more than any of the other toys they got

I can respect your point of view but so many people in my life have let me down that I have had to resort to relationships with my Hondas which rarely disappoint me.
Since I know dozens of other people who 'love their cars' I really don't feel that I have a problem... yet anyway.
