Well yeah, in a piece of inanimate metal kind of way.
I just think it's hysterically funny when people (anyone) becomes emotionally involved with what amounts to a hunk of iron and plastic. I'm not trying to attack anyone, but I see great humor in this.
I'm here for not only your entertainment, but for all of New Englands entertainment. It's nice to see you all are starting to get a grasp on my role here...

Crazy Ellen understands!!! Thus making her much less crazy...
Everyone is crazy in some way, the trick is finding OTHER people with similar craziness so you don't feel so "special"

When in doubt, always assume I'm not being serious.
NONE of us are being serious around here. Take my word. If people haven't quite figured it out, we are collectively a bunch of sarcastic, smart ass folks. Nothing any of us say is meant to be mean spirited.

I'm going to have to start a new Excel file... "assumptions about Erick" to keep track!

When my light is off I am gone. I don't lurk, although since I do get emails about new posts I can keep up without being logged in

Not sure how to reply to that...

Yes, a special bond is formed between driver and machine as far as I'm concerned when the track is concerned. It is one thing to like your car and enjoy nice weekend romps in the country, but believing in, and having faith in your car when approaching a concrete wall at 110 mph, knowing full well you can hold off until the last possile foot before standing on that pedal and taking the turn-in, confident that soon enough the wall won't be in sight, but the trackout point and the next corner will be.

Oh, and yes, I do enjoy being inside, on top of and under...
