Being a photo man I have my own comments about some of those shots, One question I do have is do you know the photographers distance from the track?
Trust me, I have some too, but the thing is, even a bad photo is better than no photo...

In almost all situations he is indeed a long ways away from the track, a very long ways. Something about cars going 100+ mph and security has this thing about you not getting too close...

The reason I asked distance is for evaluation of lens need while shooting at the track

Believe me, I knew it had to apply to lens, but it also might apply to

Bob gave me a good workout for sure!
And for all those people why complain on S-02s in the rain, that is exactly what Bob was on...

Many thanks Ellen!
S02-s are fine in the rain, in fact they are tremendous in the rain. They are designed specifically for this car for wet traction.

They do however suck in puddle's and will hydroplane and quite low speeds.

For the record, I love pushing the car in the rain too. Much more of a challenge. It was raining Saturday morning at the dragon and it was almost as fun as the top down sunny afternoon runs.

Agreed, and when I say in the wet or rain, I mean both the water and the puddles, and the horrible water effect you did not mention, streams... The water runs across the track in several areas, it is like a moving puddle, and they are insideous because they are on an angle, and they can throw the car right into a spin just by driving through them too fast.

The lawn mower just stalled out on me. I think the grass is so long in some spots that it clogged it up, as I'm not bagging it.

I set it on it's side and cleaned out the underside, now I can't start it. I think either I flooded it, or my arms are too girlie to get enough power to start it up again. It's a Toro, it always starts on the first or second pull.

I blame George W for this. If the economy was not as bad as it is, Rick would still be at his old job, and home by now, mowing the lawn.

OK, gonna try it again.

Doug are you going to consider going to the new NJ track to instruct with Ian? I think Ian said he will rent that next year for a few events. That would work out perfect for me, 4th year tracking, 4th new track
Totally depends upon dates, my BMW schools are my 1st priority, no matter what, because Ian just does not compete with them for instructor track time.

Looking at these photos makes it clear, they are dumping a lot of money into this place!
