I drove several of them as I so wanted to fall in love, however, I could not get past the horrific cowl shake. When that rooff panel was out you could hardly see in the rear view mirror because it was vibrating so bad. For the hundreds of CRX's I have seen competing and on the track, I think I have seen all but one del Sol out there.
I used to drive one of these before I got an S2000 and man... cowl shake was pretty bad. Honda really should have put some additional bracing in there or something. Fun car though, especially since I had an S with power nothing and a B16 swap.

Doug do you actually drive the S or just trailer it to tracks
Yes, it is true I trailer it to the tracks, but I also do a lot of street driving with it. For the last couple of years I have been getting about 6k miles on it per season. I love to drive it to work once in a while and I do a lot of weekend road trips with it. My '02 is up to 43,000 miles.

The vehicle I own that gets neglected more and more is my motoprcycle...

So this means the canadian cars weigh more so they are than slower
Yup, but dem silly Canadians don't know it because they are running in kilometers...

I must admit, I still have not gotten used to looking down and seeing 140 while driving on the expressway. I have found if I'm doing spirited driving I have to go back to MPH, so when I look down at the gauge I can relate to what the speed is telling me.

My car has 57k on it. This was the first ever VA to the car I can presume.

You should have seen the cabin filter! It was 100% full of DIRT and was allowing pretty much 0 air through it. The fan never felt so powerful.

I have my valves adjusted every other year, so basically every 12,000 miles.

And I have to replace that darn filter again. I sure wish my nephews were still young, the last time I had one hell of a time getting my big hand in that tight space.

There is a "feels like" temp of 36* out there.

Rick is due home shortly. Out to dinner we are going, and we might just be brave and go top down!

Not so sure we will for the ride home, though.

I'd think twice about that Lainey.
