Was reading this article:

"A daily aspirin will also help prevent blood “stickiness.”"
does anyone take an aspirin everyday specifically for this purpose? any aspirin? i heard bayer was particularly good(?).
my cholestorol (which i posted results for a year ago) is through the roof, which is common in my family. i'm 34 and starting to become concerned with it.

All you need is a baby aspirin...81 mg. Store brand is fine. Rick takes aspirin every other day.
Generally, a doc will suggest it if he/she thinks you will benefit or if you have risk factors.
What are you doing about that cholesterol? Diet changes? Exercise? Meds?

yup one baby aspirin a day + 1 1/2 packs of smokes, a pot of coffee, a few ho-hos, some red meat and no veggies -
all of that seems to have kept the heart attacks away from me

I had a scare last year, turned out to be nothing. However, during one of my conversations with a cardiologist, it was clear they would like everyone to take an asprin a day - 81mg (coated is better for your stomach). The advice was that if you can take it without side effects go ahead and take one a day - specially if your are 40 or older.
Check with your doctor, first, though.
