My bet? Secret tech day. This one must really be TOP secret as I know nothing about it.

I was hoping for a phone call to meet up for dinner, but I guess it's true, the SMC does not call.
Did you all not read Steves last post before he disappeared its the lure of prOn. His eyes have glazed over, you know someone should go to his place of work and peel him away from the computer. He may end up like that asian guy that played video games for 36 hours straight and than died.

[QUOTE=TheToon,Mar 8 2008, 04:36 PM] Thank God someone saw the irony and sarcastic humor in that.

Umm No to losing snow now we just added in more water saturation to it

It is not going to be fun this spring, I cannot remember the last time i had over 30 inches of snow on the ground this late in the season. Here is my latest flood report.

"MAINE...

ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COASTLINE OF MAINE...SNOW DEPTHS ARE AVERAGING
NEAR OR LESS THAN 12 INCHES. SNOW DEPTHS INCREASE RAPIDLY AND
DRAMATICALLY HEADING INLAND FROM THE COASTLINE IN MAINE WHERE A
FAIRLY UNIFORM 1 TO 3 FEET OF SNOW BLANKETS THE GROUND WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS. SNOW SURVEYS DONE EARLIER THIS WEEK SHOWED THAT
SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN THE UPPER ANDRSCOGGIN RIVER BASIN HAD SNOW
DEPTHS OF OVER 50 INCHES.

RIGHT ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COASTLINE IN MAINE...SNOW WATER
EQUIVALENTS ARE RUNNING BETWEEN 1 AND 4 INCHES. SNOW WATER
EQUIVALENTS INCREASE QUITE RAPIDLY AS YOU HEAD INTO INTERIOR
SECTIONS OF MAINE AND RANGE FROM 5 TO 10 INCHES. IN THE MOUNTAINS OF
WESTERN MAINE SNOW WATER EQUIVALENT IS EVEN HIGHER WITH 8 TO 12 INCHES
BEING REPORTED. SEVERAL SNOW SURVEYS THIS WEEK SHOWED SITES IN THE
UPPER ANDROSCOGGIN RIVER BASIN WITH CLOSE TO 13 INCHES OF WATER IN
THE SNOWPACK. IN MANY CASES THE WATER EQUIVALENT MEASURED IN THE
LAST SNOW SURVEY WAS THE HIGHEST VALUE MEASURED SINCE THE WINTER OF
1969. FOR SNOW SURVEY SITES THAT WERE STARTED AFTER 1969 MANY WERE
NEW RECORDS. SNOW WATER EQUIVALENT IS WELL ABOVE NORMAL."

This is the scary line in the paragraph above

"THIS WEEK SHOWED SITES IN THE
UPPER ANDROSCOGGIN RIVER BASIN WITH CLOSE TO 13 INCHES OF WATER IN
THE SNOWPACK. "

And that report was issued before last nights deluge!
