I started working on taxes today

If Joe and I don't file together I will be looking at paying an additional $3500 on April 15 --- PLUS the first installment of quarterly payments for 2008 taxes

I'm a little worried. I've been doing real actual billable work all day

I've completed one web site, almost done with another and followed up with 2 customers on potential work.

I need some freaking REAL money and SOON

No. Major ice storm in Shoreham yesterday... so much ice it took the power out. I don't know if they have it back yet or not. My mom called and begged me not to come today She's going to come down and get me on Thursday...

Happy to see your well, and if i were you i would file with joe for the year if you can work that out with him.

 

I want to file jointly but he would make out really well if we did not. Far better than I would... all the house interest is in his name which is a HUGE deduction I will lose. Have to see how amicable this is going to be

I will be lucky to break even this year, no chance of a refund at all.

 

Think of the bright side Uncle Sam is still going to give you a $600 gift for being a taxpayer.
