holding the bottle in your left hand, catch the bottle top on the edge of the counter at about a 15 degree angle.
firmly strike the bottle top in a direction along the central axis of the bottle with the heal of your right hand.

should pop right off.

or run down to the sears in brattleboro and get one these bad boys

oh but wait the closest sears is keane...bummer

You can open with a lighter. I keep 1 in each car, 1 on my hat, 1 on my belt, and who knows how many in the house. Some mounted, some handheld.

Ahhhh, don't ever get stuck without an opener.

Careful on the edge of the counter, I have a chunk missing from mine for doing that.

Only had a plastic lighter - tried but did not work

I have a $700 deposit on this place - I have no plans to even LOOK too hard at the counter

I hope I am never THAT desperate for a beer

A great ad!

I have to say, as this is indeed my industry I just love ads from other countries, you know, the ones that have not become so politically correct and prudish as we have...

I have NO bottle opener in the house!
I have to confess; I just find this statement to be completely outside my realm of comprehension...

I can't imagine how many bottle openers I have. I have some in the kitchen, there is at least one that hangs in the garage, I have separate ones that stay in my camping gear, I have one in my driving school tote, I have at least one down in the basement near all the power tools and of course I have one on my key ring, as I could never take the chance of being without.

Glad the door jam worked out.

Remember- most higher quality beers come without twistoff caps.
