Traditionally mid June and mid October, forgot that part, sorry They are alot of fun, the hardest part is finding the meet up point.

The first I went with Jim there were 4 huge buses parked in the lot which of course hid the poor little S2000s. We drove by about 5 times before finally seeing another S pull into the lot!!!

This is only about 1.25 hours from my house now, plus I get to drive Route 9 to get there. I'm getting addicted to that road in my Civic, can't wait to get the S on it!

Just waiting to hear back from George to see what he says about if we will have or not and about when. I got magnets made up last year for the event so Erick would attend (Erick is a magnet ho)

Oh Doug -- two very different regions! I saw the signs coming home for Mohawk - ours is at least 2.5 hours east of where yours is

But I may be in for your drive too depending on date

There are definitely some good roads in NY!

I take 169 which comes out of Little Falls up into the Watertown area a few times of the year and always wish I have the S with me. Great stuff!

I'd be down for a NY ride as well, but don't expect the Boston area people to join!

And don't forget the big meet in 2009 that the Upstate region is going to put on in central NY... Oh, maybe Doug didn't get to that post yet

No chit... I'm well aware... You really have to learn who you are chatting with, NYS is my backyard... I have done thousands and thousands of miles in both the Adirondack Region and the Leather Stocking Region on the Nighthawk.

Mohawk Valley Region and Leather Stocking Region are the same basic distance to the east for us.

That's fine just substitute the MA people for the NY people.

So who is the best person to be elected Route Master?

Wait a second... Is the so called Mohawk trail in MA?
I was thinking the Mohawk Drive was in the Mohawk Valley in NY.

Yes the image you posted is the one George uses for the meet. It's a fun drive of about 65 miles.

It's VERY fun w/o large slow cars in front of the group.

My friend Jeremy (who I met at the track last year as an Int2) said after the first time there... "Are these drives always this spirited?"

Jeremy is getting married this year... I hope Jen lets him play cars still
