Cool, do they live down there or are they just going for the wedding?

One hell of a travel cost for a wedding, for everybody concerned, but if ya have the money, Hawaii is one fantastic place to go. I have never been there, but I worked with a lady who had a sister living there. The sister went there after college just to take some time off before getting a job, well long story short, she never came home. She fell in love with the climate and the environment and got a job there. Now, married and 3 kids later she has spent most of her adult life there.

That's a word of warning, don't fall too much in love with the place.

Mike if you stay there can I have your S????

That sounds like a VERY expensive wedding! At the NJ meet in August we saw 3 very expensive weddings... one was a 4 day extravaganza. I can not imagine having enough money ever to waste it on the things that they did

I could own my dream house and garage, a small personal track, and most every car I want to own with the money that was spent on that wedding.

The bride and groom are going to be there for almost 20 days total, but it doubles as their honeymoon. I am going to be there for about 10 days.

Don't worry I WILL come back because my S will be home waiting for me.

As for cost, yea it will be a lot but then again my sister is spending about $40k on hers. (Don't ask, but it also includes lots of room accommodations, food, and booze for about 100 ppl for 4 days)

$40k

Wow, I just can't see it for a wedding, considering how much that would do going towards something like a house.

Factor in the free booze for 100 ppl part too. Remember, I drank $400 in booze on a 4 day cruise
