I've got that craftsman jack. It works well, but will leak a bit of oil. Nothing major since the oil is pretty cheep.

whatever one you purchase make sure it fits under the S, a lot of them wont. I learned the hard way before I finally found one that fit. I think I got mine at wahmaht. All i know is it works and does not leak oil.

Mines does not fit under the side jacking points, but will get the diff or suspension without driving on a 2x6

I have this craftsman model:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_0...=Lift+Equipment

Works fine and fits under even my S that's lowed 1.3"

I had gotten it on sale last year for $99, so deals come around if you look.

Will this jack work to jack up the front center of the S?

I have not seen this jack in person, but most of them like this can't be used front and center because the jack handle's hinge is right under the car and you don't have room to move the handle up and down.

Please advise as I do not jack from the sides.
