Yup, that's a big part of the challenge, for me I have to jack from front and rear...
I still think you should just use two jacks and lift the car slightly by the side jack point. I really think stressing the chassis is a minor concern here since you won't even be unloading the suspension completely by lifting it high enough to get a jack on the center point. But... it's your car and your level of obsession you're dealing with here.

Bring them with you next time you're over. I'm pretty sure I'll need them to put a lowered car or two up in the air in the future.
Sold to Erick for $.00

I tried putting the jack under the radiator mount yesterday and I almost made it the only problem is that I have the oem front lip, which is in the way. Hopefully this helps you decide.

Cool, I think I'll have to go check it out. I don't have the OEM lip, just the Coastal Metals Splitter, which, actually, is part of the challenge because it makes the distance from the front of the car to the jack point deeper.

Actually, you are not getting the whole reason... although you do get the obsession part.

The act of jacking and the loads the car is receiving is the smallest part of the reason. 99.99% of the time I'm jacking up the car it is because I have brake work to do. I cannot do one front and then one rear, my mind does not work that way. When I sit down to eat a meal I don't eat a little of this and then a little of that, I eat all of this and then go on to eat all of that. When I do brakes I have to do both fronts, and then do both backs, I cannot do 1 front and 1 rear at the same time or my mind would melt.

Keep in mind, there are many times at the track when it may take me 2+ hours to change just the front pads because I have 10 minutes to spare, then have to go teach, then get a 15-minute window of time, and then off to help a student and then back to the car for another 5-minutes and on and o and on. This just adds a whole nother level of confusion, so if I can just concentrate on the fronts or the backs it reduces dramatically the chance of error or oversight.
Ok... but how does jacking a side point high enough to get another jack on the center point prevent you from lifting the whole front at once? Is it the additional minute or so it takes?

What about installing those cool pheumatic rams that F1 cars have on them to lift the car??
How cool would that be?

That would be sweet, but it'd probably be a lot easier to make pre-spaced pneumatic lifters to put on the ground under the car so that they hit the jacking points perfectly. Definitely not as cool, but at least there'd be no added weight to the S!

Yeah... moving your car back and forth 25 times to get it lined up over pneumatic lifters sure sounds fun.
