Lainey, why don't you do it?
Thanks, Charlie, but I think we need a younger more car oriented person than a Grandma.

I enjoy the forum and will try to help keep it more active. I'll also make an attempt to plan some social meets if the participation increases. Ryan and I had discussed a meet in CT at the Gillette Castle last year and we never got around to it. Maybe in 2012!

And yes, I have Blizzacks WS70s already on. I'm in Boston, MA.
Welcome, Vic. Stop lurking and start posting more.

Have fun in the S in the snow.

I would be more than happy to help out/ become a CO but I agree with the above posts- WE ALL NEED TO BE MORE INVOLVED TO MAKE THIS COMMUNITY GREAT.

I have meet such wonderful people and been a part of some really fantastic meets and events but it has been a bit stale in here lately. I know that work and family can take up most of our time but I’m hoping this coming year we can all try and participate within this community a bit more. Let’s start planning some events now for next year, drives, tech meets, wine/brewery tours, scavenger hunts, dyno days,...whatever people come up with its important that others participate or else it won't work. 2011 was a really dull year in the New England forum due to the lack of participation, I saw quite a few events trying to be planned but they were not meet with a lot of enthusiasm from other members. I myself didn't attend/host many events either so I will be trying to make up for that in 2012.

Please understand I am not knocking anyone here, I know how busy life can get. I’m just trying to get others excited/involved for this next year. The more active we are the more the community flourishes as a whole.

PS I'd much rather goof off here than on Facebook.
Amen to that! Facebook is evil!
I concur. I pop onto facebook every once in a while to check on people but mostly, it stays deactivated.

Lainey, I can whore it up if you want me to.

I'm scared of the S2000 in the snow....At least, I have a hardtop and winter tires.

Vic, I hope those wheels work out for you. Did you save those B-stones or find someone to take them off your hands?

I'm fairly new here but I always love being active in the car community and I'm always down to help things along or to help people in need.

I go by the saying like a baseball field, if you build it they will come. However, people have to build

I explained myself in the thread, but in a nutshell I have a Subaru meet every Wednesday. It's come down to a small group of 5 and sometimes a couple +1s hanging out for food. Not fine dining, a lot of times it's junky fast food, some times it's TGI Friday's and the like.

Here's the thread:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/910...lford-ma-meet/

I would love to see some S's there

I've met a few people in the community thus far, and I have a great feeling about the group. From just stopping by to pick up a part, to taking a day and installing a part, to going on an all day drive through some nice roads and vineyards, I love the group and definitely want to be more active.

My name is Jesse, ZOMG, whatever you want to refer to me as. I know winter is coming but I will be DD'ing my S. I hope to meet some folks soon!

Paul, thanks again for the wheels. I did save the summer tires and will probably toss them on in the spring. I'm taking a liking to the AP1 wheels.

So do you have an S and a Subie? My +1 drives a WRX as his DD. I drive a Jeep.

I've seen your pics in the photography forum I believe.
