got ya comcast.. they are giving free digital boxes out with a remote because they are converting from analog to digital. (my bedroom tv was set up the same way ie through the wall no box) so call your local comcast office and get a free remote and free digital box

Just so you know they start at $59 and those lower models program up to 7 different remotes well worth the money for anyone ever considering one.
