Default what an afternoon.

ok so did I offend the god of home appliance or something?

this afternoon Barb puts some pillows in the washer.
I'm in the kitchen around the corner and something doesn't sound right.
I come in and there is water pouring all over the floor.

finish pulling up and cleaning up the wall to wall carpets to get up the moisture out of the carpets.

I'm suddenly noticing it is much warmer than it seemed to be a while ago.
Put my hand over the vent for the central air and it's not running.
hmmm thermostat says it's on.
hobble down to the cellar and check the breakers for the blower.
yup, it's tripped. reset and it fails over instantly.
power off fan by switch and breaker is ok, flip it on and breaker pops off.
so that means the blower motor is toast.
I'll have to call to morrow to have them come out and replace it.

finally we get done with dinner.
Barb fires up the dishwasher. After about 10 minutes I look over at it and water is pouring out of the bottom of it all over the kitchen floor.

WTF?!?!?!

The way crap is breaking I'm terrified to go to the bathroom

surprisingly I'm in a good mood.
for the first time in weeks my knee feels good.

I hate water problems. Last Aug our washer gave up the ghost and about a third of our house got flooded. Had to have the pros come in with dehumidifiers and fans for 4 days, ended up replacing kitchen and dining room floors and getting new washer, fridge and dishwasher.

Jerry, glad the knee is feeling good. That's a good sign for it to feel good just a couple of days, post-op.

Sorry about your appliance hell. We went though a spell where a couple of our appliances let go in a short time frame, but we didn't have the floods and plague of locusts.

Holy crap, this brings all new meaning to "bad things come in threes".
I sure as heck hope your luck turns around!
And I agree with others, I hate water/flood issues.
