Can you guys recommend some competent shops to fix my s2000. It has a misfire and I cannot find any good mechanics to fix the problem. First the dealership said I needed to replace the engine due to bent valves and leaking cylinder rings. Than another shop said compression was 195 in all cylinders and said the problem is in the injector control modulater. There is no such thing, can someone please recommend an s2000 mechanic or help me track down the issue?

No clue about shops in El P or LC. When I had major issues with mine or needed major work done, I'd take it to Science of Speed in Phoenix. They know their stuff, since all they work on is S2Ks and NSXs, nothing else.
