All in one flip key for AEM EMS equipped cars?
Since so many people are boosted here thought I would see if anyone knew.
I am thinking of getting a new key. Either a flip out(switchblade) style key or simply a newer Accord key which has the buttons on the key itself instead of a separate key fob like the S2000.
Does anyone know how those buttons would be programmed to work to unlock, lock and open the trunk on the s2000?
I know I don't need the chip in the key for the oem ecu anymore since I ditched that.
So would love to have a nicer new all in one key.
I know they have to be the same frequency to work, or so I am told, so does anyone know which key would work and how it would be setup to work with my car?

As far as I know, you can only program remotes with the same FCC ID on the back. The s2k key is only interchangeable with older cars that carry the same type remote such as 01-05 civic or possibly older 98+ accord/cr-v (I forget which ones interchange with the s2k). I've tried programming remotes with different FCC id's before on other hondas and it's never worked. Let me know if you figure out a way though, I'm curious to know. (I work at a dealership so we do this kinda thing all the time)
