I received a NYC parking ticket last week and want to plead 'Not Guilty' due to a defective parking ticket - - - misdescribed body type. The traffic officer checked off 'SDN' (sedan), I believe it should be 'SUBN' (suburban). According to the NYC's own website, this is grounds for dismissal.

I was actually going to pay the ticket because I was wrong, but then realized it was a $115.00 fine.

My brother has a Pilot and a CRV. They are both, indeed, "SUBN".

It pays to look read the fine print on your ticket. The appeal, based on wrong vehicle body type, was 'found to be persuasive' and the ticket was dismissed.
