Default Anyone else have this problem?

Just curious if anyone else had a similar problem to me. I found that when the AC is on the convertible setting (so that it exits the vents right above the radio), there seems to be water leakage inside the player itself. I don't know if theres a fix for this, but I worry that my CD player will be damaged.

Yea, I've never heard of this happening either. Time for a head unit upgrade!

Edit: Radio working again - must have dried out.

Byron, I have a spare OEM if you decide to go that route ...... LMK.

I guess you would first need to fix the problem otherwise you'll have the same issue with whatever radio you put in there next .... no good.

Have you posted this issue elsewhere to see if others have had the same problem? Drain blocked?

Thanks a lot for the offer Joe! If I did replace it though, I would probably go with a head unit that can at least accept an ipod while I'm at it.

I agree, I was thinking about a blocked drainage hose too. I'll ask Jeff to take a look when I get back. I'm also going to post this elsewhere to see if anyone else has this problem.

If it's over by a just a few months and you have a nice dealership they will usually file the claim as warranty work. Again, it just depends how nice the dealership is. Worth a shot.
