They'll just cut the steering wheel

It will slow them down though

if you parked on the street your asking for it and the only thing you can do is slow them down or make it riskier

Exactly. Let's be real people. It's a Honda and the parts fit into a Civic and it's no strange event for someone to buy a crashed S and get parts the illegal way.

At the risk of sounding insensitive... I don't know what is getting more annoying, reading posts about the theft or reading that there wasn't every security measure on it to at least slow the thief down when you park outdoors. How many damn posts with Steering wheel lock, gps tracking, alarm with pager and motion sensor ... on and on are there.

No offense but probably what the exhaust cost, you could have put a decent alarm on there. Hey like someone mentioned.. put a damn steering lock on the car. Sure it won't stop them but it will slow them down. To me an S parked on the street (of any neighborhood, good or bad) is like leaving your wallet on a table in a public area. It is that easy to take an S. Smarten up guys and for gods sake protect your cars better.

2-way pager alarms work best. I caught a few punk kids trying to f@#k with my 08 TL Type-S back when I street parked living in Oyster Bay. I ran outside and they jetted, I'm sure they were going for my wheels at the time.

It beats me how guys spend crazy money on mods for their car but won't speed a dime on security.

Any info that shares even the smallest info about stealing an S2000 will be removed.

If anyone reads anything that may used by thieves, contact me directly and I will pull the info.

If the car was driven off, there is a good chance the vin was ran through the Honda iN network and a key may have been cut.

PM or text me your vin, i will run a thorough check and see where your vin was accessed.
