My S2000 was vandalized last year while I was visiting my girlfriend in Union City for thanksgiving. The top was cut and the seats along with the gear knob and the gauge cluster were stolen.
Well I recently moved to Guttenberg ( to all) and there was a MY02 RIO that was being parked on the street (Boulevard East) and even that was broken into in a similar manner. The top was cut and the seats along with the gear knob and the gauge cluster were stolen. I suspect it is the same group of people as stealing of gauge cluster is rather unusual. What really baffles is that how can anyone do such a thing on a street as busy as Boulevard East.
I just wanted to warn anyone who lives in or around this county to be extremely careful about where they park their cars at night as I do not want anyone else to experience what I went through.


P.S. Can anyone recommend a safe parking garage in West New York or Guttenberg or somewhere close. I have only found one and that has a waitlist as long as the great wall of China.
