I don't have options like most of you - I have no garage, friend with garage, or place to do work and no know-how if I did have a place. So I have to pay someone, only question is who.

The pulsation was really bad. They offered to turn the rotors for me but said they probably will not hold up to 3 more track days this year so I would be back in for more work regardless.

I am going to research actual cost of parts and get an idea of that to see how much they are charging me in labor. If it pisses me off I am going to look for a shop in the Albany area for additional work. It's just handy having the dealer right here 10 minutes away.
DO NOT turn the rotors, turning the rotors = less material to dissipate heat which = cracked rotors.

The pulsing, from my research, is pad build-up on the rotors which can be removed with an aggressive 3M pad or possibly even sandpaper.

I do understand the lack of garage space / tools but if you have a mechanic that is willing to just do just labor you would be wise to purchase OEM pads (~$100 F&R) and some used rotors or quality replacement rotors and just have the mechanic install them for you.

Good luck. $1000 is
