I figured it's about time to update this tread as I wait for my girl to get home from work. widened the bumper to line up with the fender so I get an even curve in the wheel well arch. after a lot of sanding it came out just as I wanted. it took a lot of work to get out the low spots and get the fender smooth. finished the metal work on the hood next I need to get all the dents out and block it smooth. also finished shaving the trunk.
fiber glassed the bumper then filer

this filler works grate for filling the holes in the bumper made just for biting into plastic

I also got a new air compressor the thing is a beast 5rhp only pulls 19 amps on 1ph. swapped out my fittings for high flow fittings that where surprisingly hard to find but ebay had them. noticed a big difference when using these fittings. I also plumed 30 ft of copper tubing before my air filters to cool the air and get all the water out.

This thread is inspiring! You do great work. Let me know if you still need door gap measurements, I can run out and take them.

thanks that who be grate lets say at the body line. I've looked at a few s2k's and they seem to vary a lot, seen some that are tight and other look like a could fit my finger in so I'm not going to stress it to much

Looking great. That repair is breathtaking, glad to see she was able to be saved. When do you think she will be on the road again
