Also I think you can no longer purchase a new ap1 engine from Honda. They may only have the F22C available if at all.

If you are not technically inclined (I know I'm not), probably best to have your car sent on a flatbed to any Honda dealer. Only suggest you check with dealership to ensure that staff there have specific knowledge of working on S2000s.
For engine work they usually hav their senior techs work on the car, but then again it's best to ensure that these techs have some if any experience working with the S2000.
Also have you had your rear axle nuts torqued to the proper spec? If not, search for that info and have that done as well. This maybe a good opportunity for you to get all preventitive work complete.

I was able to borrow a reader from Auto Zone in Kingston. I got the following codes:
P0302 - Cylinder 2 misfire detected - Confirmed
P0303 - Cylinder 3 misfire detected - Confirmed
P1456 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak detected - A - Confirmed
P0300 - Random multiple misfire detected - Confirmed
P1399 Misfire detected - Confirmed
Not sure how bad this is. Hoping it's not fatal (or costly)

swap your coil packs from 1 and 4 to 2 and 3 and see if the codes move to those cylinders. that a free and very quick way to check your coil packs. I'd also go ahead and pull your plugs and inspect them while your at it, probably replace them to just because it's cheap and easy to rule out. report back
