Lake George Area Group Drive Aug 23/24
Anyone want to try out some roads a bit north for a change? I did two group drives up that way last weekend and both were fantastic!
Would be great to get 3-4 cars (or a couple more is good too) to get an idea how the drive will work with a group. Lake George is about 40 miles north of Albany, straight up 87 (exit 21). We can plan to meet in the Albany area.
Will be heading EAST from Lake George and into part of VT. Our stops will include a quick one if people want at the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT.
I have a great set of directions, routes, and distances from the tour organizer, I will have a copy for everyone who shows up.
It's a little longer than I thought (almost 200 miles)... we need to get going on time and no dawdling on the drive route

10:45 am meet up spot at Dunkin Donuts, on McDonough Way (right in front of Clifton Country Mall and next to Mobil gas), Clifton Park, NY 12065 (Off route 146, off 87 exit 9)
(This may be 6 Clifton Park Center Road Clifton Park, closest I can find on Dunkin Donuts web site.)
Dinner about 4 pm

Rick, if it's the 23rd we need to fit this drive around the 4 pm dinner meetup at the fish fry joint so maybe Sunday will work better, thanks for the interest 
Riche -- we start IN lake george (LG) and head west and north, finishing up back in LG. This is one of the drives for S2K Days in LG at the end of Sept.

Trying to combine with the Fish Fry meetup
If that works we will leave Albany area about 11 am. Just need a meeting spot. I know where the Latham Post Office is now
Plus ones can stay home and wait for dinner or come along for the ride - it will be a bit of a long day.

I have no idea Levi, I just have directions (start here, take this route/road, turn left/right) all w/o mileage on them.
We will be hitting the Adirondack museum briefly if that helps... starting in center of LG if that's an option for you

I think we should just try to do the 23rd We already have a meeting setup for that date, we will just add onto the morning if that works for people.
Just need Jeremy to change Mexican Connection to Fish Fry Connection 
And maybe throw in some wording about the car swap not being mandatory since it's scaring people off!
