That's what, about $15/hr? Doesn't sound like much to me. Perhaps my perspective is skewed though. I was making $12.50/hr fifteen years ago as a summer intern. Now, the quality of his work might be suspect, but as far as the job itself goes I don't see any issue with the salary.

30k isnt too bad for a single, but if he in california 30k is shittt considering rent is more than half his paycheck

i am located in central PA...... we have a fairly low cost of living.

it is not tons of $ but this guy makes 50% more than our average starting guy in our warehouse who is expected to actually work hard and move inventory.......

o well.... life goes on.....

is that before or after tax? must be-after tax, because that is $37K before tax. That is not so much if he has a family of 6, but great if he's single

I've never seen a salary quoted as after tax. Taxes vary quite a bit based on your own personal circumstances. I also doubt too many people fresh out of college have a family of six to support.
