Any of you guys be a janitor for $30k? I sure as heck wouldn't...If someone craps on the floor or barfs in the hallway are you going to clean it up? That's what I thought.

 

no...this guy works from 4:00am-10:00am then spends 2 hours driving around aimlessly.

no one craps anywhere and no one pukes anywhere.... he basically empties garbage and mops the floor.

for the lack of talent required I think he is way over paid.... we have accounts recevable and accounts payable people barely making more $ than him and they perform valuable functions....plus they have to work the full 8 hours vs. his 6 hour shift with a 2 hour drive at the end.....

 

yeah b/c adding numbers up is real hard...

Sounds like you are a jealous of him..why not get him fired and take this easy and glorious job ...

Not everyone can work a 10 key like me!

I am just looking for ways to make our company run smarter but people around here are very slow to react. In today's economy we cannot afford to overpay people (in my opinion).

So we over pay this guy and we have 2 idiots in our HR department that contribute nearly nothing... so over $100k in savings if we would do something about it.... or at the worst even $ but have people who actually know what is going on...

 

I hear you, I truly do, and I agree!!!

I have a problem with a company (where I work) saying they can't give rasies or bonuses b/c of higher costs yet they hire 5 new VPs each earning well over 180K a year....

but somehow the janitor who may not do the best job is the one that is rediculed b/c of a whopping 30k a year salary...


I don't know I think there are plently of people who don't do a good job but at least go after both ends of the spectrum since the ones up top are ones who mismanaged the whole thing from the get go...yet they are getting bonuses...

 

I've graduated UCLA in 07 and have been with Disney for 1 year doing Accounting. 60K+ if I do 50hrs/week but I dont usually do so haha.
