I would have done the same thing. If it came to them assaulting you that's one more thing against them. A ticket would turn into an arrest! Plus if they were rich you could sue them.

Yeah I know some folks whose mother qualified for the handicapped permit, they drove her around and used it when she was in the car, now that was okay. They also used it all the time even when she wasn't in the car, and they continued to use it after she died. Now that was not okay and they should have relinquished the tag at that time but they just continued to use it.
