forgot to mention, the cop took my the ranch dressing out of my hands and threw it, so he was technically littering. In Irvine, I believe that's punishable by death.

In my neighbor hood, 70% of the kids under the age of 18 drive cars that are at least $25,000. Now I'm wondering why all of a sudden, I'm looked upon as a car thief....I still believe profiling was a major issue...that or either racism.

I love Irvine, but I don't want to have my kids go through the same crap for absolutely no reason. I f'ing hate when innocent people get profiled just because of their ethnicity or their characteristics. What the cop saw was an Asian kid who was driving a nice car (in his mind), wearing nice clothes, listening to some hiphop music, and decided to just bust his balls. So the cop's either jealous, racist, or he profiles people because how could he think for that long that I stole my car? If I stole the car, would I have gone to jack in the box, park in some parking lot right in the middle of a neighborhood, then eat with the doors open with the music on, while my friend's playing basketball? He saw my ID, checks my license plate and still thinks I stole it. He then questions me about all the stuff IN my car and tries to bust me on everything little thing they notice, luckily they didn't go infront of my car.

bobatimez, I actually did read that post and I thought you were talking about something else, but anyways, thanks for the link.

one time i got a fix it ticket for my shocks and springs in my old teg. that idiot said my stiff suspension was too bouncy and was dangerous. i had neuspeed springs and tokico adjustable shocks. i tried to fight the fix it ticket, but the judge sided with the cop anyways. so i got fined. then that asshole cop came by me afterwards and threathened to throw me in jail on the spot for not getting the fixit ticket taken care of. he let me go, but said if he ever saw me again he would throw me in jail if i didn't fix it.

That's dumb...we're not so paranoid about people that we have to do that. Why are you? Afraid of something?
I found this quote from the other thread by josh3io...

I honestly now am a bit scared to go out at night IN Irvine. When you have every 3/5 cops following you for a long period of time then get harrased at the end of the night because of parking after hours, it's not the greatest feeling in the world. There's a thin line between security and paranoia. I've just crossed over.
